Environmental
Making buildings better for a sustainable future
We monitor our scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions and drive improvements through introduction of high efficiency and electric vehicles, using preferred suppliers with ISO 14001 policies and leveraging our operating system to reduce fuel, paper, transportation and waste.
Hemlow are proud to be members of the SME Climate Hub, a global initiative that supports businesses in taking climate action and building resilience. By joining, we commit to reducing our environmental impact and halving our emissions by 2030. In making the SME Climate Commitment, we have joined the UN Climate Change High Level Champion’s Race to Zero campaign.

Social
Building a community
We’re building people. Our training schemes and strong connections with local communities are among the things we’re proudest of. We invest in our staff through a range of diversity, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives. Employees benefit from a fair pay policy and comprehensive training and development programmes.
Volunteering and charity events are part of our calendar. We’re working together as a team to raise money for our employee nominated company charity through fun, local fund-raising events and challenging events like the property triathlon.
Every year we give hundreds of thousands of pounds back through training and charity fund raising.

Our senior leadership team promote our ESG goals through transparent accountable communication including newsletters and regular town hall meetings where employees are updated on the business, celebrated through awards and give open forum for Q&A.
