Back in May, I had the pleasure of planning and bringing our latest CPD event to life, this time at one of London’s most iconic locations, The Swan, right on the doorstep of Shakespeare’s Globe.
We welcomed 50 guests through the door, with a great mix of familiar and new faces, all coming together for an afternoon of learning, conversation and, of course, the opportunity to earn CPD hours along the way.Â
These events are all about developing people and teams. So far this year, we’ve trained over 70 attendees, which has been amazing to see the CPD community continue to grow year after year.
Throughout the afternoon we had two sessions running, starting with Overview of HVAC Systems before moving onto Managing Tenant Fit-outs. Once the sessions finished, we had drinks available and a lovely tray service for the canapés, giving everyone a chance to  relax, chat properly and catch up with industry peers.
For us especially, the experience is just as important as the learning itself. Yes, there’s plenty to take away, but we never want people to feel like they’re simply there to tick a box.
As an added extra for the group, we headed off for the tour around the famous Shakespeare’s Globe, which was a brilliant way to step away from the technical side of things, take in a bit of culture, and naturally, get a few photos along the way along the way.
Each CPD event has its own character, but with a goal that remains the same, to create useful learning opportunities while bringing people together.
