Higher Standards Across Your Buildings

Managing multiple buildings means making sure every site is operating to the same standard every day. Regular audits are a big part of how we make that happen at Hemlow.

For our clients, audits provide...
  • High site standards
  • Monitored H&S compliance
  • Accountability
  • Tracked reporting
  • Confidence in delivery

We carry out audits across all the buildings we manage so we can see exactly how each site is performing. We review service delivery, equipment performance, compliance, health & safety, logbooks and the overall presentation of the building. Which also includes engineer conduct, plant room tidiness and subcontractor performance.

Our audit schedule is built directly into our PPM planner, ensuring audits are planned and completed across every contract. Contract Managers & Senior Engineers are assigned responsibility for completing audits, helping us monitor site standards and service delivery.

Any findings are turned into actions and assigned to the relevant people to complete. Our administrative team supports this process by allocating work to Engineers and tracking actions through to completion. Both pending and completed tasks are uploaded to our operating system, giving full visibility of progress and status. The Contract Manager oversees these actions, reviews the actions taken and approves/signs off the completed work.

This creates accountability throughout the business. Directors also have visibility of completed and outstanding audits across teams and client portfolios, giving them a clear understanding of performance, outstanding actions and client requirements. Where needed, actions can be escalated and addressed at board level to ensure standards are maintained.

Clients receive copies of audit reports, providing complete transparency and a clear audit trail that supports continuous improvement throughout the duration of the contract.

Alongside this, our in-house Technical Support team acts as an internal consultant, carrying out independent site audits. Their role is to provide an unbiased view of the building, identifying risks, compliance concerns and opportunities for improvement that may not be visible through day-to-day operations.

We also carry out biannual subcontractor audits through our Supply Chain Team and Contract Managers to help maintain service quality and reduce supply chain risk.

For our clients, it provides clear visibility across their portfolio and confidence that every building is being managed to the high standard they expect.
