On Friday 30th June, #TeamHemlow employees put their sporting skills to the test by participating in the highly anticipated annual JLL Property Triathlon. This year’s event was in support of DEBRA Charity, a cause nominated by our Lead Engineer Rob!
Months of training and preparation paid off as our team members approached the challenge with a mixture of excitement and anticipation.
Setting the bar high, our Managing Director Chris took on the full individual event which required completing a 750m swim, 21.2km cycle, and 5km run.
With previous experience, Chris bagged himself an impressive time of 01:38:43.
Next up was our first relay team! Taking on an openwater swim was our Contract Manager Vince! After completing the swim in 19minutes, our Account Manager Emily hopped onto her bike setting a speedy time of 00:52:13.
And finally, it was time for Stef to complete the final leg of the race… the run! Overall their team finished in 02:01:15.

With spirits and competitiveness running high, the next relay team geared up to go!
Scott, our Contract Manager, finished the swim in an impressive time of 24 minutes, paving the way for Ollie, our Account Manager, who cycled through the four laps in just 00:51:09.
The baton was then passed onto Callum, our Regional Manager, who kept up the momentum of the team till the finishing line! Their team finished in an impressive 01:48:39.
Was great to come together to support DEBRA. And squeezing colleagues in and out of wetsuits brings a whole new dimension to team building! Well done everyone, see you next year!
Lastly, our Contract Manager Jack stepped up to take on the entire event!
This is Jack’s third time competing in a Hemlow triathlon and the experience paid off!

This was my 3rd JLL Property Triathlon with Hemlow. It was such an amazing day, team hemlow looks to be growing in numbers for this event too which is fantastic to see, bring on 2024, see you next year.
We are proud and thankful for everyone in #teamhemlow that took part and contributed to raising funds for our company’s charity partner DEBRA! It was an unforgettable team day, and we already can’t wait for next year’s Triathlon!
