Hemlow Improver Scheme

We’re big believers in nurturing talent and encouraging people to build long-term careers with us. That’s why we developed our Improver scheme. It’s designed to give anyone – regardless of age, skill set or qualifications – a route into our industry, and the practical experience and on-the-job training needed to build a long-term role with us.

Hemlow Scholarship Scheme

Training and career progression is key to the success and growth of Hemlow; therefore, we have a Scholarship Programme in place which shows a clear career path options and the training applicable to each level. The majority of Hemlow senior management have come from internal promotions from engineering backgrounds.

Open and friendly culture

We’re a down-to-earth bunch. We take our work seriously but not ourselves. We have honest and straightforward conversations with each other and our clients. We’re all part of the same team and help each other out, whether that’s by lending a hand on site or talking something through on the phone. We also think it’s important to take time out and celebrate our success with evenings out and our big annual company event.

Competitive salary and benefits

We have a transparent and fair approach to salaries. Everyone gets an annual pay review. We offer 25 days’ holiday after minimum employment periods. Join us as an engineer and you’ll get your own van or travel card, specialist tools for your role, smartphone and tablet.
