2025 Charity Announcement
At #TeamHemlow, CSR is far more than just a policy — it’s embedded into every aspect of our values. A key element of our CSR initiatives is community support, and this year, we are proud to support a cause that touches many lives: Prostate Cancer UK.
All our employees are given the opportunity to nominate a charity of their choice, one of which gets selected at random. Recently, we had Stuart, one of our Maintenance Engineers, draw a charity out of a hard hat!
Why Prostate Cancer UK?
Prostate Cancer UK is an organisation that funds research to find better treatments for prostate cancer. Their goal is to create a world where no man dies from prostate cancer.
They invest millions into developing better treatments and early detection methods. With statistics revealing that 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, Prostate Cancer UK aims to empower men to navigate this challenge. They offer essential resources that help individuals understand their risks, make informed treatment choices, and connect with expert advice—all important steps towards taking control of their health.
Our Commitment to the Cause
As we begin our commitment to support this incredible charity, Hemlow will participate in various fundraising activities throughout the year. One of the standout events on our calendar is the JLL Property Triathlon, where we will come together as #TeamHemlow to raise donations for Prostate Cancer UK. Employees from all our locations will be joining in, demonstrating our dedication to making a positive impact.
