Summary

The large air conditioning system upgrade commenced in July 2024 with a five month project plan, concluding in December 2024. The client, Imagination, required Hemlow’s expertise to improve the building’s EPC rating and secure the necessary certificate to comply with their lease agreement. To minimise disruptions to the occupied building, the projects team collaborated closely with Imagination to schedule works and refurbishments, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

Services offered

  1. Installation of VRF system, with 6 condensers and 84 terminal units, replacing night storage electric heating system.
  2. Refurbished 19 air handling units, upgrading belt-driven centrifugal fans to EC plug in fans.
  3. Upgraded BMS from Trend IQ3 to IQ4.
  4. Upgraded electrical distribution boards.
  5. Installed VRF pipework beneath floors.
  6. Project management, installation, craneage and commissioning.
