Making buildings better for tomorrow

We work with you to transform the performance and potential of buildings over the long term with M&E projects and improvement works.

Projects

The most significant investment you can make in your building

M&E plant replacement and upgrade work are the most significant investments you can make in your building. We’ll work with you to make sure that this investment is worthwhile and helps you realise your ambitions for the building. There are different reasons why you might be considering plant replacement or upgrade work. One of the more common drivers is the change in use of a building. New tenants can have different requirements for the use of space, and you need to be able to meet these. The plant age, lifecycle of the building, and energy ratings and savings are also key drivers for equipment upgrades.

Reducing Carbon in your buildings

We know how important carbon reduction is, and the ever-increasing need to reach important sustainability goals. We’ll provide you with concise reports to assist with this, including main M&E plant that may need replacing due to age, condition or energy saving potential. This will help you to plan for CAPEX upgrades with sustainability in mind.

It’s important that this information is well timed, we can tailor this to tie in with your budget dates. We’ll also provide you with legislation updates and tenant wellbeing improvements.

How we’ll work with you

  1. Identify equipment that needs upgrading

At the beginning of every contract, we’ll carry out a condition report to identify the equipment that needs upgrading.

  2. Equipment replacement plan

We’ll put together an equipment replacement plan or work from your own plan before drawing up costs for any plant replacement needed.

  3. Present the benefits

Once we’ve identified what needs replacing, we’ll detail the benefits of replacing that equipment, including reductions in repair work and service costs, and energy-saving benefits. It’s about helping you build the best business case for the project and making sure all upgrades support your building strategy.

  4. Project delivery

We’ll provide a design & build turnkey project, or work with a designed specification from concept to completion. After completion we’ll provide a maintenance regime for ongoing support.
