Here at Hemlow we have started the year full of positivity in our brand-new Head Office space in Sevenoaks! Following huge company growth, we made the announcement at the end of last year that we would be off to pastures new, and we are now settled in and so excited for this next chapter.
The new location offers the best of both worlds, with convenience and attraction for employees and guests alike. Extensive views of the Kent countryside can be admired through the floor to ceiling windows providing plenty of natural light, and with the station on our doorstep you can be transported into the City in under 30 minutes!
So let’s take a look inside!…
With an open plan design, the main working space allows for open channels of communication and future flexibility. However, in addition to this we have also added breakout areas and quiet spaces that employees can use when they need some privacy.
We have also invested a lot into upgrading our technology, so our boardroom and event spaces now have the latest video conference equipment allowing us to stay easily connected with our clients and employees at any location.
At Hemlow our main priority is our employees, therefore their opinion was vital to us when creating this space, we wanted to make sure this office had a dedicated place where employees could gather and socialise, get creative and switch off when needed. We asked the people of Hemlow what they would want this to look like, and here is the end result!
And finally, we couldn’t end our tour without taking a moment to recognise one of our favourite features. Our Hemlow timeline, taking pride of place on the entrance wall of the office it is a great reminder of how far the business has come since its launch in 1996. We can’t wait to see what it will look like in another 25 years!
Although current circumstances mean that some of our team are temporarily working from home the Hemlow Head Office provides our employees with a balance between wellbeing and productivity and we can’t wait to welcome our full team back!
