Remaining COVID Secure In The Office

Written by Emily Evans
As you will have seen from Chris’ memo on Tuesday 22nd September, the decision has been made to keep the Slough and Sevenoaks office open. Therefore, we thought it would be helpful to send out a reminder around the current rules that have been put in place to keep us all safe in the Office.

Your workspace

Disinfect your workspace before and after use, along with your keyboard and mouse which should also be sanitised. If at Sevenoaks, please use your own equipment provided in your personal tray.

Social Distancing

Following the recommended distancing rules is important, so please take care to use the walkways provided and keep your distance from one another. So please bear in mind no handshaking, hugging or making tea for one another… even though you may want to!

Hand Hygiene

Use the hand sanitiser provided on your desk and around the office, and ensure you are washing your hands regularly throughout the day for at least 20 seconds.

Kitchen

Please follow the rules around limited numbers in the kitchen, and ensure that the dishwasher is switched on every night.

Air Conditioning

As we are all aware in the maintenance industry we need to have regular fresh air in the offices. At Slough this is not something you will need to worry about as fresh air is constantly provided by the ventilation system, however please ensure that the windows are left open in Sevenoaks… even if it is a bit chilly!

Track and Trace

The NHS COVID-19 app launched yesterday, we would recommend that you download this app to keep yourself and your families safe.

Equipment

If you notice that any of the PPE or hygiene equipment is running low then please inform Julie at Sevenoaks and Sharon at Slough.

Combined, these procedures will help to ensure that we remain COVID secure in our offices, allowing us to continue seeing each other’s friendly faces each week!

If you feel you are uncomfortable at any time then please do not hesitate to speak to your line manager or Linda Uguz

These instructions will also be stored on the Hemlow Intranet to be accessed at any time.
